Kaitlyn made sure my stay was amazing and I would most definitely recommend checking out this hidden gem. It's a perfect place to spend time in nature. If you enjoy hiking, fishing and camping as much as I do, you will fall in love. The hiking trail has been well maintained and ends at what I would describe as a little piece of Heaven here on Earth. Absolutely beautiful scenery and a great place to go fishing ?.

Stayed in the purple cabin and it was great! Given the heat of a southern summer, the well functioning AC and fans were awesome. The location is right on the river and close to a paddling takeout. Bring a camp stove if you want to cook something that can’t be cooked on a charcoal grill or microwave. Also bring earplugs if noise wakes you up - the train runs close by and all the time.

Beautiful Location, but Cabin Disappointed We loved the location and the rustic feel — the scenery was beautiful, and it was great having our own private patio with the river just steps away. The little town nearby had a lot of charm, and the boat ramp being less than a minute away was a big plus. The state park only 10 minutes out made exploring easy and convenient. However, once we got settled into Cabin #8, things went downhill. The counter wasn’t clean, the floors were filthy, and the bed linens and towels had stains. We ended up buying cleaning supplies from Dollar General just to make it tolerable. The blinds didn’t fully close, leaving parts of the windows exposed, and the fire pit area was left a mess by previous guests — beer caps, and cigarette butts everywhere. The grill hadn’t been cleaned, with ashes and coals scattered in front of the cabin and piled by a tree. Overall, while the location was great, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep really took away from the experience. We won’t be returning or recommending it.

This place is filled with nothing but Peace and Serenity! Absolutely beautiful, from the rolling hills, to the Ocmulgee River! Juliette is filled with nothing but History! What an amazing little town! Thank you guys for the amazing service! The Cabin was in tip top shape and perfect for my wife and I to spend some amazing time together!

Stayed overnight in October 2024. Love the location and the rustic vibes. Was very clean. The only downfall was no tv or WiFi. Would've been nice to have since we had no cell service in or around the cabin.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins this past weekend and had an amazing time! It's absolutely beautiful sitting on your private deck facing the river. There's tons of trails and easy river access to watch the birds and turtles float by. There is a train track running right beside it, but that made it even more unique! If you're more into camping, they also have tent spots and for families they have a cute family lodge available. We will definitely be going back again soon!

Pros: Great and prompt communication from owner. It's off the beaten path. It's quiet. It's right beside the river with rustling waters. It's far enough from town but also convenient enough to go to town in 10 to 15 minutes. Cons: When the wind blows or when it storms all kind of debris fall on the tin roof and your vehicle and you can't sleep. On our visit the TV wasn't working. The place is a little small and lacking a few amenities for the rate in my opinion. I'm not going to leave a long drawn out review. It was a nice quiet getaway. But the TV didn't work during our visit. It'll be nice to wind down watching TV for a little bit before we went to bed. As mentioned earlier, bathroom and lodging area is very small. Fine for a few days but I wouldn't want to stay the week.

I recently took a trip down to this lovely area in George. Of course, I remember it from the movie Fried Green tomatoes. The cabin was clean and neat. I was able to get the cabinet at the far end that gave me the privacy that I craved. I enjoyed the small little porch with a ceiling fan and that was a nice addition. This place is a great location for family getaways. I really enjoy the easy river access and the friendly welcome I received in town. I also had my bike and was able to bike around and enjoy the scenery. I will definitely be back in this time with two young children. The local outfitters have numerous river trips planned and I can’t wait to enjoy one of the full moon floats. I highly recommend this relax or peaceful area.

What a wonderful getaway for us! The cabins are awesome and the view is heavenly! Ed the grounds keeper made sure everything was perfect! We walked the nature trail and kayaked up river! Perfect getaway for us being local and needing to be able to run home and feed our critters. We will be back!
