The Sleep Inn Macon I-75 offers a budget-friendly option with convenient access to the interstate and local amenities. While many guests appreciate the friendly staff, comfortable beds, and decent breakfast, concerns regarding cleanliness, noise levels, and maintenance issues are frequently raised. Recent reviews suggest a mixed experience with significant variability in room conditions.
The rooms were pretty good but the staff is great. Especially the early morning staff. The guy that works the front desk and does the breakfast is amazing. He knows the clientele that stays there and tries to get breakfast out quickly because he knows we all have a job to get to.
Staff was superb, quiet and clean. Only issue was the shower door didn't quite stay closed on the hinge. Fridge and AC stayed super cold. Kiddos had a blast in the pool
The hotel has a great location. It is a bit run down. Spots on the wall and floor was half clean. The fridge did not work. Breakfast was as expected, continential. Good deal for one night stay.
This isn’t a luxury hotel, but it’s a solid place to sleep and includes breakfast. The elevator wasn’t working, so we had to take the stairs to the second floor, but the front desk clerk told us right at check-in so there were no surprises. The beds are doubles, not queens, so keep that in mind if you have littles piling in with you. Shaving in the shower is a bit of a challenge, but nothing deal-breaking. (No where to prop your leg.) There is shampoo, conditioner, and a bar of soap already in the room. Breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits, muffins, toast, cereal, waffles, and yogurt, which is a pretty decent selection for the price. The biscuits weren’t the greatest, but it’s free breakfast and it gets the job done. If you’re looking for something inexpensive that gets the job done, book it!
Room was clean and quiet. Smell of marijuana from other people in the hotel. Not a fan. Breakfast was comprehensive and tasty and also well maintained by the desk person.
I stayed at Sleep Inn Macon I-75 from February 6–8, and the conditions were unacceptable and unsanitary. There was visible mold on the lampshade near the bed, to the point that I had to remove it just to feel safe enough to sleep. There was also mold throughout the shower, indicating poor cleaning and maintenance. To make matters worse, when I went to get ice, there appeared to be black debris or what looked like an insect in the ice, which is a serious health concern. I reported these issues to the front desk during my stay and was told that any refund or resolution had to be handled through Booking.com, even though the problems were health and safety related. I have photos documenting everything. This experience was completely inappropriate for any hotel, branded or otherwise. I am requesting a partial refund due to the unsanitary conditions.
Traveling to Florida with our ESA dog. Had a positive experience room clean, great shower, decent breakfast. Staff friendly and good value!
The very first time I entered this hotel, I felt right at home. I love the comfort of the beds, rooms are spacious and very clean always!!! My favorite thing is the shower, I can't get enough of it. I would most definitely Recommend Sleep inn. To anyone I promise you want be disappointed. Even when you come through those doors the Ladies and Gentlemen always greet you with a smile ? I Love it!!!
Let me start by saying this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It gets 1 star since I can't give it zero. I booked this hotel because of the good ratings on priceline. I will not stay at a hotel that is less than 8/10 or 4/5. The good: The evening front desk girl was polite. The end. The bad: I walked into my room to find a cockroach climbing on the wall. I immediately went to the front desk to request a new room. The lady said the hotel was booked full amd there were no options to move. I ended up going back into the room(with the hotels can of bug killer) to take a second look. When I moved the refrigerator, no less than a dozen more cockroaches scattered across the floor. I sprayed everything i saw and went back to get the lady to show her. She came into the room and couldn't believe what she observed. I was not able to change rooms. Since I booked through a 3rd party(Priceline.com), they would not issue a refund. They did not offer to provide me a room at a different property. I kept the spray in the room, thankfully, because one even made it into the shower area. I also found dead ones behind the bed, that had not been cleaned. To make matters worse, I am allergic to cockroaches and had an extremely itchy and now painful outbreak.
Worst matress Ever. Springs go all the way to the bottom. AVOID unless youre just knockin boots. If you need to actually rest, seek better. Bed So bad I changed rooms at 3 am. Different bed was only marginally better. Never again!!
