We chose this hotel because of the price and one of the other reviews said the beds were comfortable (that is very important to us). The lady at the front desk was very nice and got us checked in quickly. Once we got to the room she text us to make sure everything was good and said if we needed anything to let her know. The hotel was clean and didn't have a bunch of clutter in the lobby which was very nice. The room was nice and clean and the bed was indeed comfortable. We would definitely stay here again next time we come through here.

This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Brian, the staff member on duty, was unbelievably rude and completely unprofessional. We arrived in a stressful situation after our car broke down, coming from out of state, and even had officers with us—yet he refused to check us in or offer any kind of help. At around 4:00am, instead of showing any urgency or basic decency, he ignored us completely. Rather than doing his job, he was driving laps around the building while on the phone with a friend. To make things even worse, he was laughing at my father over the phone while we were stranded and trying to figure out what to do. That level of disrespect is beyond unacceptable. There was zero empathy, zero accountability, and no effort whatsoever to assist people clearly in need. This experience was frustrating, stressful, and completely avoidable. I will absolutely be sharing this experience and warning others to stay far away. No one should be treated this way—especially in a situation like this.

Could have been cleaner .. room definitely could’ve used a sweeping/mop on the floors. The doors to bathrooms and walls could use a repaint. Did not like the soap bars that were provided - they made your hands feel sticky after. The parking lot is limited and tight. Otherwise ok. Beds were comfortable. My husband who basically eats anything said the breakfast did not look appealing so we passed on that and can’t speak for it. Wouldn’t rush back but not the worst experience. I wouldn't recommend as it was not a stand out stay and I don’t think worth the cost. Stayed for one night- Just fine.

Stayed for 1 night at the Wingate in Macon ga. with my wife. Extremely happy with our accomodations, room was clean and spacious, good water pressure, great location. They had waffles, pastries and different cereals for breakfast, coffee, orange juice and peach juice. They had ample and well lit parking space. They were also close to different options for dining, cracker barrel was the closest one. But the best quality of this hotel is the staff, very accommodating and helpful.

There was no power to the a/c unit. The front desk offered a fan to resolve it. (Why rent out a room knowing there wasnt power to the a/c?) But I cant sleep with a fan on. Pulled back the covers on bed to find hair. Tried the other bed. Found strands of hair (blonde and brunette), various lengths and toenail clippings. Skipped breakfast due to hotel guests coughing all over food.

Got charged a fee because the room had a smell after i left. No evidence of smoking, just a smell that anyone cleaning or came in after could have caused. Pick another hotel!

I stay here while In town for business. Its been good, kinda peaceful and staff is always nice. Rooms could be cleaned better

The residents in Macon are sweet and helpful. The hotel was clean and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Room are setup nicely with all of the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. Microwave, Refrigerator and Coffee pot.

Overall room was nice just hated the bed because it was super uncomfortable ( a solid single mattress on a hard flat surface.) Not good for someone with siactica.Bathroon was small & had no shower bars to hang wet towels only the hook back of the door.The whole metal area shifted when turning the water to shower.As well as the toilet sat really low.

Easy on and off from highway. Service is exceptional. Room is larger than most Wingates. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean! Breakfast was standard. Coffee was better than gas station coffee.
