When we checked in last night after being at a local hospital all day with our elderly father, Crystal not only checked us in, but offered encouraging words to let us know that all was going to be okay. She was super helpful- even offering to help us get our luggage cart up to the room. Her welcoming smile and nurturing demeanor conveyed the most sincere customer service we’ve experienced in a long time. Thank you Holiday Inn and Crystal for making our stay restful by providing that sense of peace and calmness.

I had a long trip, and Macon was my halfway point. Nicole and Valentina greeted me with warmth at the front desk. We started cutting up immediately. The room they gave me was excellent. I had a restful stay, and was recharged to continue my journey. Genuine hospitality is impossible to fake; Nicole and Valentina are the real deal!

Wonderful hotel experience. Overall the hotel is very nice. The rooms are very spacious and nicely put together. Staff are very nice friendly happy smiling people. Breakfast was great also. Will i return again...Most definitely!!

The appearance from lobby seems appealing but the staff is not on point. Two times my room door has been left open. The first time it was left open for 2 days. They will make your bed, but don’t empty your garbage. Not very orderly

I had to switch rooms during the stay because my first room had somebody’s personal belonging in it, no bath towels, and bits of hair on my bed. The second room I got there were black pieces on one of the beds, someone’s Taco Bell and propel in the fridge, and one of the lamps in the room didn’t even work. As a Diamond Elite member, I’m really disappointed with the booking I made through IHG. The people at the front desk were really nice about the whole process though.

I have been so impressed with the customer service at this hotel. Dee was exceptionally patient with checking in our nine rooms. His pleasant personality and patience with my student’s needs was amazing. If you are traveling with a group, I highly recommend this hotel.

I had an extremely upsetting experience at Holiday Inn Macon North. After driving 10 hours, arriving around 11 PM, and already being physically exhausted as a disabled traveler, the last thing I should have had to deal with was checking into a room with cockroaches. I reported it immediately, and while I was switched to another room, that room was not any better. There were mice running in and out of the walls, and the loud train noise made it impossible to rest. What made this even worse was the way it was handled by the front staff. A joke was made about how my service animal would be “chasing the cockroaches all night.” I did not find that funny at all. It was disrespectful, dismissive, and completely inappropriate given the condition of the room and the fact that I was disabled, exhausted, and just trying to get safe rest for the night. Instead of feeling helped, I felt humiliated. My written complaint also reflects that I had to change rooms late at night and still could not rest safely or comfortably. This was not a usable stay. No guest should have to deal with cockroaches, mice, noise, and staff making light of it when they are clearly overwhelmed and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving extremely early and sleeping in my car just to get proper rest. I would not stay here again.

I’ve been staying at this location for 3 months and I’m very pleased with all the hospitality I’ve received from employees. I’ve watched one in particular Nicole go above and beyond her duties to make sure guests have a home away from home feeling. I’ve traveled and stayed in many places so I can recognize someone who takes their position very seriously. Keep up the good work Nicole. ????

I didn’t stay because I have A Service Dog and the man named Adrian asked me twice what service she provides and o told him twice that she is my medical alert dog and alerts me and others while I am having problems that could turn deadly and then he told me that the ADA doesn’t recognized medical alert dogs and told me he picks not give me a room ! TOTAL DISCRIMINATION!! I Will be filing a lawsuit against this company !

The good points: Right off the freeway and nearby restaurants. Clean rooms Bad Points: No restaurant due to renovations (Was supposed to be done in December 2025).. No coffee in the lobby for guests on Saturday, but was there on Friday??? - Was there for an event and after I checked out, I could not get coffee.. The A/C controls on the wall do not work. You have to use the controls on the a/c unit.
