The Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Macon North consistently receives positive feedback for its friendly and helpful staff, particularly Sabrina and Brian at the front desk, and the cleanliness of the rooms. Guests appreciate the convenient location near major highways and the availability of amenities like an indoor pool and hot tub. However, some reviews mention issues with cleanliness and pests, particularly roaches, and occasional noise.
Front desk clerks were AMAZING! The rooms are cozy, and there is an indoor heated pool. When you walk in, they have lemon infused ice cold water that you can help yourself to. They have a computer area for guest use, if you don’t have your own computer. They serve a hot and cold breakfast from 6-9 and yogurt as well. My room was very spacious. Nicole was my front desk clerk, and she was so helpful when I inquired about places to see in the area.
Country Inn & Suites in Macon ended up being a solid and affordable stay for our concert weekend. The location worked out great for us — only a couple of miles from the Atrium Health Amphitheater, which made getting in and out after the show easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for the area. The A/C had no problem keeping the room cool, which is always a huge win after a warm Georgia evening out exploring. The lobby and common areas had a more updated feel than we expected at this price point, especially the fireplace lounge area. Breakfast was simple but enough for most travelers: coffee, juice, eggs, gravy, waffles, and the usual quick-start options before getting back on the road. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Macon that still feels comfortable and convenient, this was a good pick for our trip.
I traveled from Michigan to Macon for a reunion. I stayed April 30-May 3. Upon arriving, Sabrina let me look at the King room on the ground floor. ( I had requested queen beds on ground floor). I preferred queen beds, so I checked in with a 2nd floor location. the room was clean and quiet. I did not require room housekeeping during my stay. At breakfast, Felicia was a delight. Very happy and was sure to have each person accommodated. The next day at breakfast, Miss Pearl was just as helpful. I am not a breakfast person, but the food served looked good. Overall. employees like Sabrina, Felicia and Miss Pearl are the backbone who interact with us weary travelers and make us want to come back----which I will when I visit Macon.
Wow what a great hotel! Highly recommend. Best hotel on our roadtrip. Affordable but with all the amenities and comfort of a hotel for double the price. Super comfortable and roomie, great breakfast, nice pool, and the staff were so warm and friendly! That really makes a difference. Jessica at the front desk was so friendly. Felicia at breakfast was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Our kids said the staff was so friendly they could work at Disney!
Four stars for a 3 star hotel. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. We did not stay for breakfast so can’t say anything about that. Our floor did smell like weed but the room did not. Have the expectation of “you get what you pay for” and you’ll be fine here! We just needed a place to sleep on our way to Florida and this took care of that just fine.
Our stays here have been exceptional!!! Country Inn & suites happens to be my favorite brand but now this has become my favorite spot above and beyond any brands and in particular any country Inn & suites locations.. this location happens to be sandwiched in between two other brand of the same brand, better pool better spot best service to tha folks. This location is family owned and boy do they have high work ethic and a personable professional efficient and NOTHING lacking here.. cleanest and nicest room we've ever been in and there's been so many... May be what country Inn & suites would say they represent anyway, but this one serves the brand name as exception to the rule for the rest.. Family owned-each and every person here was so kind, that's not a good enough word, wait...was so hospitality laid back serving with heart, not focused on the funds but focused on family, particularly mine and everyone else's I saw stay here.. I will say that I was not happy with guests that I saw that did not treat this place as a sweet stay away home that it is, but I didn't see that had any effect from the family serving on the excellency that was extended to each and everyone who walked through their door... We love who we serve, right? Surely it shows here.. Meticulously maintained though updated certainly well enough, you can see that they will keep it that way for generations to come... Breakfast was awesome, housekeeping was immaculate! ?? I've had different stays here as I come through town every 28 days for my doctor in Atlanta. I pause my drive in between to not overexert myself with the kids that I have as well... It really means a lot for them to be able to come down and get breakfast while mom is able to catch up on the sleep in the meantime, as I can't stand a smell food in the morning... Kid well behaved enough in the pool sure meant a lot. Saltwater pool which means mom can get in there without problem and certainly very warm, one of the warmest pools I've ever been in, very lenient hours open till 12:00 a.m., first I've seen at a hotel... No gush just rush before I even check out to say thank you because that is extremely important, this old school lady in a shoe with so many kids, you know the rest... Just THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts and know that any time we pass through, we will absolutely strive, whatever distance making that difference for our comfort and Mom to catch up on her sleep... The prices are without question beyond reasonable and this slow down life type of town dictates that there's actually a vacancy here, hopefully for us in times to come.. I've stayed at several hotels-- if this hotel was located somewhere else, it would be booked solid all the time without vacancy... But I'm glad for circumstances being what they are so that I can still afford it and I believe this staff will never forget where they come from, despite areas to change times to come. Thank you from this old lady in a shoe with His Tribe of six ATLiens not of this world!!
I have consistently had great experiences here in the past, the most recent stay was not great. The check in process was easy and the front desk worker was very pleasant, and even offered a small gift bag, that was very thoughtful. The room, 2nd floor, was clean, the bedding, carpet, bathroom were fine. It did however have a foul old musty smell too it, took a long time to run the fan to get rid of the smell. Not sure where the foul smell was coming from. Then upstairs there was so much noise, it sounded like a literally bowling ally match was taking place, so choose the highest floor if you want to avoid that headache. Also, you might find the tv stuck on CC and other assisted options, if you don't need it, you have to go on the tv menu with the remote and change it. Also, Be aware!!! of any parking lot scams here!!. Received a fake 'hit my car' note on a promotional sticker with bogus Google number, while a 'scout' in a white sedan watched me from across the lot , morning hours. IF you receive a note on your car like this DO NOT call that number! Management should increase security patrols in the parking lot. Try to park as close to the front door area as possible, verify any foul smell issues if you are checking in on the 2nd floor, and you should be fine. Breakfast by the way is excellent. but, I will not be back again.
Amazing customer service from everyone who worked there! Our room was the King Suite and we LOVED it!! 10/10 and close to restaurants. The breakfast bar is great! I asked for a room on the end for quiet and we were in the middle, but it was very quiet and nice! I would definitely recommend this hotel. We stayed extra days because it was so nice. There’s a pool, hot tub, and workout room and you can even bring your pet. Thank you and see you next trip!
Great service. Bed was comfortable. Huge bathroom and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of restaurant near by motel. Staff was helpful. Lobby area look uniq. We will come back. And I decided to I will stay only this motel when I will heading to Florida.
Was given a room with an amazing view. Room service was okay. The pool was actually open. Breakfast was very good nothing was old or stale. My only problem was the pest and the lady bugs that would come through the AC in the rooms.
