This hotel had the BEST staff of any property I stayed at during my cross-country trip, and I stayed at a lot of hotels during my 17-state journey. Shea, who checked me in, had a positive, welcoming energy that set everything off on the right foot. Mamie, who worked the front desk later at night, was incredibly sweet, accommodating, and provided the absolute best customer service. Billie was also excellent and made checkout smooth. The value you get for the price here is amazing. The room was clean and comfortable, the AC worked great, and the pool was decent. Considering the area it's in, I was also impressed by the security measures. You can tell the property is actively monitored, and they keep the side doors locked which helped me feel secure. They were quick to address any concerns I had. I stayed at a different hotel the night prior, and the difference in experience here made me wish every hotel in this class was run as exceptionally well as the Riverside Inn. Highly recommended!

I was pleasantly surprised, you never know what to expect from reading reviews but the room was clean, no musty smell others said. Yes its older but clean and well kept. The pool area was very nice too. I feel like I got a great deal for the price.

I'm giving this hotel five stars because the room was absolutely immaculately clean and they are so friendly here. We had two dogs with us so we rented a room in their dog friendly part of the hotel. Now, the room isn't brand new but it's big and it's spotless. Very very comfortable beds. Lots of room. Great breakfast. If you're traveling with dogs this is a great place. Oh, and there's lots of space right outside of the hotel, first floor rooms, where there's plenty of room to potty dogs.

We almost overlooked this hotel because it’s part of a smaller chain, and we originally booked with a larger brand. Unfortunately, that hotel was a huge disappointment. The room wasn’t truly set up to sleep four people, the pullout couch was dirty, and the room itself wasn’t clean. We ended up getting a refund and were scrambling to find a hotel at 10:30 at night. Thankfully, my niece found this hotel based on its great reviews, and we’re so glad she did. They had a true room that comfortably slept all four of us, and from the moment we walked in, we could tell it was well cared for. The room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making a stressful night much easier. The complimentary breakfast was also surprisingly good, with plenty of options to get us back on the road. Even walking to and from the car late in the evening, I felt safe around the property, which was a huge plus. This hotel completely turned our night around. We will absolutely make it a point to stay here again the next time we make the long drive to Florida. Highly recommend!

I just wanted to take a second to say that I received the most humbling kindness from the lady at the front desk. Her name was Ms.Mars. I was having a bad day due to ptsd and anxiety and as i said her kindness was such a breath of fresh air and was exactly what i needed at that moment. I am so thankful to her. She is amazing everytime i stay there for work. Everyone I’ve dealt with there was great but MsMars is very special. Thank you!! See you all next time!!

The rooms are clean — nothing fancy, but clean. One of the TVs in the room didn’t work, and there were no complimentary water bottles provided. The lighting in the room was also not bright enough for me personally. Overall, if you need a clean and safe place to sleep, this is a good option. Other than that, there’s not much else to mention.

The lo action right off of I-75 is great. Easy to access. The front desk staff is superb, especially Billie Jean. Very friendly and helpful. The pool was drained, but that’s ok because it still wasn’t really warm enough yet for swimming outside. The rooms are god for what you need them for, sleeping. They’re clean but outdated. The breakfast was hot and tasty. It’s basic, waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. It’s a good place to stop if you’re in Macon and need to sleep. We would stay again.

Wonderful place. Very clean but still very affordable! They had free breakfast included which was wonderful. Eggs, make your own waffle, biscuits and gravy, sausage, yogurt, cereal. Very nice staff.

Friendly staff and good breakfast. Beds are nice. I got an accessible room, which was nice but it was not a walk in shower. I didn’t like having to walk outside to get to breakfast.

We stayed on Saturday night in room 101 with my 92 year old mom. The electricity on one end went out we reported to front desk she said she would send maintenance right away we had to go back and report it again after 15 mins and again after 20 no one showed up until then. We had plugged her oxygen cylinder to it which went out i am glad it didn’t coz any problems to my mom but that was terrifying and we were there sitting without heat when temp outside was 10 degrees. Front desk was sweet she offered room move but 101 was too convenient and we were all settled in with all my mom’s equipments. Service was horrible though. Lobby was freezing and canopy lights were off when we checked in at 6 pm and checked out and 6 in the morning. They need to pay attention to details.
