The Days Inn by Wyndham Macon I-475 offers a generally positive experience, particularly for budget-conscious travelers. Recent reviews highlight cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff, while also mentioning occasional issues with breakfast availability and, concerningly, persistent roach infestations in multiple rooms. Value is a significant draw for many guests.
Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Front desk was very nice. Continental breakfast- waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, toast, fruit and yogurt. Super Walmart in the back yard. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Price was amazing
I was very pleased with the room, service, cleanliness and breakfast at this Days Inn in Macon I-475. Actually, I was surprised. The room was clean, the shower was perfect…. Lots of water pressure and a steamy hot shower, which I love! The breakfast was more than a continental with hot biscuits and sausage gravy, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit and the staff was pleasant and helpful. I would return any time.
Stayed overnight for a sport tournament and this is close to venue. Staff is polite. Room is clean.
My first time staying at Days Inn by Wyndham and it was a wonderful, restful stay. The check-in staff was kind, patient and helpful. Also the check-out staff was friendly and very thorough in explaining the process. Will definitely recommend this hotel - 5 Stars.
Easy stop over on our trip. Very updated rooms, however check your sheets, ours were stained with bodily fluids. Bathroom was small but had what we needed and was very clean. Everything worked well. Breakfast was a joke, they were out of almost everything, we went at 8am it closed at 10 so should have been restocked. Check out person didn’t seem concerned that our sheets were gross and did not offer any compensation, we used points to stay so that was disappointing.
*edit: we came back for a second night the next day. That’s how clean we felt it was. A easy choice. For a low budget motel, this place was super clean and the staff very friendly. The bathroom was cleaner than my $500 room in Vegas. Late night and morning staff were very nice. The bed was comfy and the room was nice and cool when we arrived. Great price for a quick, one night stop.*
Please do not let the photos fool you, the location looks nothing like this, I would not recommend this location to anyone. We were in Macon for a ladies church retreat. We had 5 rooms reserved; we checked in with no problems. But Midnight came and the roaches came out. They were out from the holes in the wall; I could hear someone beside of me hitting the wall trying to kill them. 3 of the rooms we had checked out and went somewhere else because they could not take it. I went to the front desk after midnight, complained and we were moved to another room, it was cleaner, but I woke up at 5am with roaches on my pillow. I waited til the front desk opened and complained again but we were checking out. The lady told me they would still need to charge me a small portion, cash was paid. BUT MY CARD was CHARGED the WHOLE AMOUNT!! I have called several times and everyone I get we are working on it. Some manager names Melissa I have called but never returns calls. They will not refund me,
I would not recommend this location to anyone. We were there for a ladies conference, we had 5 rooms. Every single room had roaches, we could hear ppl hitting the walls trying to kill them. At midnight We asked to be moved to another room, it was cleaner but I woke up with a roach on my pillow. We had several people who ended up leaving in the middle of the night because it was so bad. Then they told me I would only pay small portion of the room, yet they’ve charged me credit card and have not refunded me. I have called several times about the refund everytime I get we’re looking into. Absolutely ridiculous customer service
We needed a room for 1 night and this was in our budget. Barely under $100 but still way better then $120+ at other hotels. Room was clean. Beds were decent. I feel like "queens" at hotels are more like a double, lol. Water pressure was amazing in our shower!!! Got nice and hot too. AC was cold. No issues with wifi or TV. For it being a Friday evening no craziness or loud people out. Check in was fast and easy. The guy working was friendly and helpful. Great customer service to me and other. Sorry I don't recall his name. 4 starts instead of 5 due to a roach who did not chip in on the cost. But only one and for how dirty people are nowadays you see them even at expensive hotels. Sonic is what it is. For one night we made it work. Ordered pizza and had no issues getting it delivered as well. So you need a room under $100 i recommend this Days Inn
Loved the smooth beds. I had sweet dreams. Two things though. THERE WERE COCKROACHES. But there were only two. And by the way, who's Robbie? His name was carved on the bathroom door.
