The Comfort Suites Macon consistently receives mixed reviews, with significant concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance, and potential discriminatory practices. While some guests praise the staff and breakfast, a large number report issues with room conditions, including mold, outdated fixtures, and operational problems like malfunctioning outlets. Recent reviews highlight significant issues impacting guest comfort and satisfaction.
Eh. Half the outlets in our room didn’t even work. Not to mention the fact you can tell whoever cleans the rooms doesn’t do a full cleaning. Not the worst option, but wouldn’t recommend
Room 201. Bed sheets were wrinkled. Beds looked slept in. Matresses are old and sagging. Room had a rancid, musty smell. Stains in the bathtub and toilet. Had difficulty getting the door to lock when we went out. Avoid!
Hotel was horrible.. I think the picture says it all.. That is semen by the way.. Me and my family would have left but it was vday weekend and everything was booked. We did change rooms but after seeing this I was disgusted.. I dont know what protocol hotels follow after a guest finds something like this but we should have received something..
Great place and the breakfast was really good. The biscuits and gravy was delicious. The biscuits seem like they’re homemade the gravy seemed like it was homemade very nice people in the bed. I slept like a baby and the bed here are just fantastic. I got the king bed and I’m telling you I slept like absolute baby.
This place sucks. Runs in the carpets, pieces of hallway walls crumbled on the floor, smells old and musty, mold in the shower, thin doors and walls so you can hear everything, heater blew cold sour mildewy air when I tried to make the room warmer, pool and hot tub were stinky, grimey, and slimy. The room layout was fine and no bugs. This is not the worst hotel I've stayed at, but it is the worst hotel over $100 I've stayed at. The breakfast is gross, which is saying something because I'm obese and eat everything. There are 3 other hotels in the same parking lot, try any of those first. Location is good and close to shops and restaurants. Coin laundry on site. Shower water gets hot, but there is no bathroom fan, which is probably why there is so much mold.
After having bad experience with Hilton & Marriott.. I found this place was more comfortable then any others The bed was so comfortable I slept 9 hours straight and that's saying something.. The family owners were so welcoming . Daisy & l loved staying here.. Wish I found this place sooner.. Highly recommend... Ty to the owners for getting it right.. Deborah & Daisy
The room was nice. It was mostly quiet overnight. There is very limited road noise from the interstate. It is not far from the interstate if you are traveling. Breakfast was included.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and this is something I wasn't used to. Normally the staff cleaning rooms on checkout don't say a word to you, but the staff here was friendly and saying hello to me and also to my baby daughter when they saw her. The rooms were nice. The beds were comfy and the AC blew cold. There were plenty of outlets bedside and around the room. The hot breakfast on a Sunday included biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs, sausage, and waffles. The hours of breakfast was 6-9 but other Comfort Suites normally have breakfast until 10.
Very helpful staff. The entire building and rooms are very nice. Beds were comfortable. The noise level was practically zero. The amenities were excellent.
We checked in after a long drive and immediately upon pulling up we could tell this place was run down. The overhang of the pavilion off the main entrance lot had huge holes, and once we got in it didn’t smell right. Our room was at the end of a hallway lined with holes in the carpet. The lighting was very dim in the room, and overall didn’t feel clean. The bathroom had caulking lined with mold and fixtures speckled with rust. The stairwell had old torn up carpet thrown about it. My kids found two bandaids in the pool and the hot tub was so murky you couldn’t see the bottom - and the jets were not on. The final straw was the dead cockroach in the hallway. We expressed our concerns with the hotel staff member at the desk, she was very kind and understanding. She offered to change our room or refund our stay. We chose to get a refund and went to a different hotel. I’m hoping this review can bring some attention to the management so they can get a serious clean and update underway to this facility. It was quite honestly one of the worst hotels I’ve been to.
