Pretty nice place. Everyone was so nice, especially Paula at the bar!! She was so helpful and friendly and such a sweet heart! After a long day of driving she made me feel welcomed and got me some to eat right at closing time. Would love to stay here again, simply because of her.

I’ve done a lot of traveling in my life, Paris, New York City, Italy, Cuba etc. Stayed at many hotels around the world for work or vacation, the gold standard for hospitality is Ashley and Latoya. From the start they immediately made me feel seen and welcomed. Throughout my two week stay here time and time again they greeted me with a warm welcome and a delicious cup of coffee every morning without fail as soon as I arrived to my lobby office for work. From the start the they set the tone for the rest of my day with warm ease, Ashley and Latoya start selling a course on hospitality you would make a killing! Anytime I pass or even get near Macon I will make sure I stop by this hotel for a coffee and a warm welcome from my new friends. The best of the best, thank you!

I stayed at this hotel for my anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience! Ellicia at the front desk was kind and accommodating and insightful for diner plans. The staff at the restaurant were also so hospitable and full of local knowledge. 10 outta 10 will absolutely stay here agian for the staff alone

Went here for a work conference. There were multiple large events going on and their parking lot was not able to accommodate for that many people. I feel like the hotel overbooked. Our conference had a large amount of women and no one was tending to the restrooms. There should have been a bathroom attendant consistently checking with that many women. The restrooms had no toilet paper, soap and the trash was spilling over.

I had a great stay at the Marriott Macon City Center. The best part was the service from all the staff. I had to wake up early for work each day and was always at the restaurant counter at 6 am, right when it opened, to get my morning latte. Latoya Meadows was always there on time, was very friendly, and always made a great latte! It was a great way to start my morning and very much appreciated it. Thanks, Latoya, and to the rest of the staff for a great stay.

I have stayed here on many occasions. Every one is great. The last time, I completely forgot to book a room. They were able to get me booked quickly in a great room! Geri is AMAZING! My room is always clean, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also very good, I regularly have dinner while I am there. Ray, at the lobby bar is so sweet and always does a PHENOMENAL job! If you are in downtown Macon, I definitely recommend the Marriott.

I recently stayed at Marriott, and I had an amazing experience, thanks in large part to the fantastic service I received from Melanie at the front desk. From the moment I walked in, Melanie was warm, welcoming, and professional. She made my check-in process so smooth and quick, and she was very attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Her friendly attitude truly set the tone for my entire visit. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to providing excellent service, and Melanie definitely made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you get the chance to be assisted by Melanie! Thank you again for making my experience so memorable!

This was my first time visiting Macon, and I have to say—I was beyond impressed with my stay! The Marriott exceeded my expectations in every way, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The level of service truly stood out, especially thanks to one of the team members, Azalee (also known as “Cash”). From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Every time we crossed paths, she greeted me with such warmth and positivity that it genuinely brightened my day. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly loves what they do and takes pride in ensuring guests have the best experience possible. Thank you, Cash, for your kindness, professionalism, and for always being so attentive to anything I needed during my stay. Because of your exceptional service, I’ll definitely be returning to the Marriott the next time I’m in Macon!

I loved this hotel. The Presidential Suite was very spacious and clean. It was the size of a one bedroom apartment. The housekeeping team (Nakisha) in particular was very attentive to our needs. The breakfast in the Concierge room was delicious and Ms. Stephanie who prepared the food was so inviting and pleasant. The location of the hotel is right off the interstate and easy to find. We will definitely be staying here again.
